GUIDE SERVICE

Claudio Carrara was born in 1958 in Foligno, a little town in Umbria, a region in the centre of Italy.
He started fishing when he was a child and his first experience was with a fixed rod in the rivers and lakes in the neighbourhood areas.
He came across fly fishing accidentally while looking at a fly line swinging in the air: this moment would have changed his life radically.
He started his technical training and, in the 90s, he took part in many fly casting tournaments getting many victories and he also won the Italian Championship in 1995.
At present he runs together with his brother a firm importing fly fishing tackle.
He also collaborates with the Italian magazine "Mosca & Spinning" writing articles on fishing techniques.
